Because Turn Key Ridge recognizes the importance of our breeding dogs being able to be a part of a home environment, we place future breeding dogs in loving guardian homes for a reduced price. While Turn Key Ridge retains the breeding rights and AKC ownership to these dogs, the guardian homes love and care for the dogs as their own. All breeding expenses and responsibilities are covered by Turn Key Ridge; with the dogs returning to us for their whelping. Turn Key Ridge may also elect to show these dogs and will be responsible for any showing expense and transportation. Once the breeding dog is retired, they will be spayed/neutered and placed into full ownership to the guardian home. Our guardian homes sign a contract with us outlining the responsibilities of each party. We encourage our guardian homes to earn AKC titles such as CGC, rally, obedience, dock diving, etc, however this is not a requirement to be a guardian home.
